In the future, the signage that is used on the connected vehicle will be more utilized than now. The uses of this technology will be heavily adopted on logistics vehicles, which have a large volume and body size. It is optimal for easily identifiable signage that can be positioned on the body panel. In an urban environment, the display will be able to interact with pedestrians more intuitively. With the help of stage five autonomous systems, these trucks will be able to connect with the traffic information. With this, the trucks can send signals to pedestrians who need to cross the road, when they cannot see oncoming traffic due to the truck blocking the visual. It can also display the progress of the work, and safely indicate the temporary working zone, to better indicate it to pedestrians for safety.
